Last night we saw Sabra Johnson win So You Think You Can Dance when 16 million of you voted last night. I watched the show last night and the Lion King routine which featured all of the top 20 dancers from this season was fantastic, I love the group routines.
During the final each judge got to request one of their favourite routines of the season to see again. Starting with Mary she requested that Lauren and Pasha start things off with their Shane Sparks hip-hop dance and I don’t know about you but I loved they way this routine was put together but then again I love Hip Hop.
Judge Nigel picked his favourite routine of the season and it was the dance that Jamie and Hok done which was Wade’s famous hummingbird routine. Nigel said that it was “Definitely one of the most beautiful dances of the season”.
Jean Marc Généreux picked his favourite and that was Sabra and Dominic for their Shane Sparks hip-hop routine.
Wade wanted to see Lacey and Danny team up again and they danced the Hip Hip Chin Chin routine again this was one of my favourite.
Per Mia’s requested to see Sabra and Neil’s table dance which was choreographed by Mandy Moore. They danced to Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by the Eurythmics.
The final four dancers where all powerful in the way they moved and performed the routines.
So in fourth place was Lacey followed by Neil and then it was down to the final two Danny and Sabra both very good dancers but America voted and Sabra was named America’s favoiate dancer.
Most of these dancers have been dancing since an early age but that don’t seem to mean much when it comes down to competition. Winner Sabra has only been dancing 4 years and what an amazing dancer she has become.
