A few days ago we posted an article which included the new Twilight Teaser Trailer; little did anyone know how popular the movie trailer was going to be. In the first three days of the trailer release it had been viewed over 2 million times on MySpace.com. This is coming close to breaking the record that is held by the movie trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, that trailer was viewed 4.1 million times in its first week on Yahoo Movie.
If the Twilight Trailer keeps going the way it is, then it will become the most watched movie trailer since the launch of the internet. This is a really big deal, all the other high viewed movie trailers are made by big production companies however; Twilight is made by a non-major movie studio. One has to wonder if Paramount Pictures are feeling a little sick right now, as they had the chance to take this movie up. The movie does remind me a little of The Lost Boys, this could be the reason why the trailer has become popular. Summit Entertainment are making the movie, they decided to make the movie as the first three books in the series has sold more than 6 million copies, so the studio are hoping that the movie adaptation will be as popular, and the early signs do look promising.
